I am a pigeon of Baqie, very different from you. Instead of a dome, I rest my head on dust.

Where is your beautiful home and where is this home! Where is the golden dome and where are these ruins!

Over there, the caretakers are polite to visitors. Over here, they drive visitors away from the graves.

Over there, whoever flies becomes a bird of heaven. Over here, whoever flies his wings and feathers become dusty

O You around whom every night hundreds of candles are lit, Tell Imam Raza, are you the 'stranger' or is your mother?

Brother Abdullah was a Jamaican convert from Sunni to Shia. He told his story at our old Masjid in 1996, where he publicised his book - "Rescued From The Fire".

Namaaz e Wahshat to be recited for him Monday 15th Oct.

Funeral prayers of brother Abdullah Nazir Uhuru will be held at St.. Peter Church Hall, Hartley Road Notts NG7 3AA on Monday 15 october at 11 am sharp. Al-Zahra foundation Nottingham.

1) Top section: Address with link to Google Maps to show location of Masjid-Al-Husayn. Also there is today's namaz times and next three upcoming programmes.
2) Contact Us section: Contact Us Form and Friday Supplement Entry Form - Use this to communicate with us and to add entries into the Friday Supplement.
3) Leicester Jamaat News section: This is the Jamaat blog where Program Manager posts program updates, Joint Secretary uploads Friday Supplement and Webmaster adds other information. Also, if you have a poem, article or something you like on youtube, contact us and we can share with others and add to the blog. Did you know we have, on average, 170 unique new vistors per day with the largest source being Google. Repeat daily vistors account for an additional 220 visits per day.
4) Audio Recordings / Podcast section: You can listen to recordings of all functions and programs held at Masjid-Al-Husayn since July 2007 and also some gems recorded previously, these are marked as "Archive". You can press the play button to hear the recording or download the MP3. Usually within 30 mins of the program finishing, the audio is uploaded. You can also subscribe to the podcast so each recording is delivered to your iPod or PC automatically. Did you know we have had over 1600 downloads since we started adding recordings to our website in July 2007. The most popular file being Majalis by Molana Sadiq Hassan from 2006 Ashra Zainabiya.
5) Live Broadcast Section: Every function including Juma Namaz is broadcast live. We have the flexibility of increasing the number of users wanting to connect whenever required. The record to date is 73 people who tuned in to hear Syed Nadeem Sarwar live at Masjid-Al-Husayn on 6th Safar / 24th Feb 2007
6) Calendar Section: 30 day plus 4 year view of all Islamic Dates along with Leicester Namaz Times.
7) Jamaat Admin Section: Download Jamaat Membership forms, Standing Order Forms and make online payment. Also, if you are a tax payer, please be sure to complete a Gift Aid declaration, that way jamaat can claim an additional 28 pence in every pound you donate!!
8) Classified Section: Want to advertise on the website? We have a classified section at the bottom of the homepage.

We regret to inform you of the sad demise of Marhuma Kahirunbai Rajabali on Sun 7th Oct.

Marhuma will be buried on Monday 8th October.
Approximately, 2.30pm Namaaz Janaza at Masjid Al Husayn, Leicester followed by burial at approximately 4.00pm at Saffron Lane Cemetry, Leicester.

There will be Kharimani/Iftar for both gents & ladies.
