Al Quds Demo Sun 28th Sept 1pm - Supporting Palestine 2008

Al-Quds Day was inaugurated as the last week of Ramadan by the late Imam Khomeini 23 years ago as a day of solidarity with the oppressed people of the world, and in particular solidarity with the oppressed Palestinians.
This years Al Quds day will be taking place on Sunday 28th September at 1pm.

Hilal Advisory Team Statement - Ramadhan 1429 AH - Updated 22:39 - 2 Sept 2008

Following consultation with Ayatullah Sistani’s office in Najaf via Qum, the Hilal Advisory Team confirms that Wednesday, 3 September 2008 will be 1st Ramadhan 1429

As for the Muqallideen of Marhum Ayatullah Khui, The Hilal Advisory Team has ascertained that 1st Ramadhan is on Monday, 1 September 2008 for the Muqallideen of Marhum Ayatullah Khui
