Sharikatul Hussain Saturday Workshop and Masjid-al-Husayn's annual Muharram Blood Donation (supported by IUS) took place on Sunday 2nd January at the Leicester Blood Donation centre on Vaughan Way, Leicester.Alhamdullilah once again this year there was an increase in the number of attendees; with 17 persons eligible to give blood, totalling over 7990ml of blood donated! Supplies of blood from ethnic minority blood groups are always low and therefore in great demand. The blood donated by the members of our community will be used within the UK to assist those with an urgent medical need.
