This weekly club will help kids enjoy reading, bringing them together with friends and improving their skills and abilities during lockdown.

Each session of 30 minutes, with small groups of equivalent level, will have each child read a page in turn of a book that will be shared virtually. Their guide will help with words they don’t understand, making the sessions engaging and fun.

As well as improving their reading, the session will bring kids together and build relationships with the older children in our community who will be guiding the reading.

Allocated sessions will run 2-3 times a week for an initial month, provisionally 3:20-3:50pm.
